Khan Shatyr is one of the most recognizable landmarks of the capital of Kazakhstan and a unique architectural structure combining the functions of a shopping and entertainment center and a cultural space. The complex is located in Astana and is an important part of the modern urban landscape. The building opened on July 6, 2010, and has become a symbol of the capital's dynamic development. The design was developed by renowned British architect Norman Foster, the creator of several iconic buildings around the world. The complex's architecture takes the form of a giant tent, inspired by the traditional dwellings of nomadic peoples. The structure reaches a height of approximately 150 meters, and a transparent coating made of a modern polymer material creates a feeling of lightness and protects the interior from harsh climatic conditions.

The total area of Khan Shatyr is over 120,000 square meters. Its dome houses shops, restaurants, cinemas, recreation areas, and entertainment, making it one of the largest leisure centers in Central Asia. One of the complex's key features is its unique climate control system, which maintains a comfortable temperature inside year-round, even in extreme weather conditions outside. The indoor Sky Beach Club resort, with its artificial sand beach and swimming pools, is particularly popular with visitors, creating a summer atmosphere year-round. Today, Khan Shatyr is not only a shopping destination but also an important cultural and tourist destination, attracting residents and visitors to the capital with its unique architectural appearance and variety of entertainment.
