

Procedure for Entry into the Republic of Kazakhstan
Invitations and visas to the Republic of Kazakhstan are issued in accordance with the rules for processing invitations for foreigners and stateless persons:
http://adilet.zan.kz/rus/docs/V1600014531According to the Rules, the inviting party submits an application and required documents to the territorial police authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan or through the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" at the place of registration to receive the public service "Acceptance and approval of invitations for issuing visas of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
The inviting party receives the invitation number and date registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
After that, the inviting party sends this information to the foreign citizen.
The foreign citizen applies to the foreign mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan (embassy or consulate) with the obtained documents.
In case of applying for an electronic visa, the foreign citizen fills out the visa application form online via the Visa and Migration Portal - https://www.vmp.gov.kz/en/ or through the QazETA mobile application. (An invitation issued through the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is mandatory).
To obtain a visa at foreign missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan or the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the following documents must be provided:

- visa application form with a color or black-and-white photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm);
- when applying at a foreign mission or international airport of the Republic of Kazakhstan — the number and date of the invitation registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs or Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or a petition depending on visa category;
- a valid diplomatic, service or foreign passport, or another identity document recognized by the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- original payment receipts confirming payment of consular fees or state duty;
- additional documents in accordance with Appendix 1 of these Rules.

The passport submitted by the visa applicant must meet the following requirements:
- must be authentic, belong to the holder, and not contain corrections, damages, or removed pages;
- must contain at least 2 blank pages for visas;
- must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the expiration date of the requested visa;
- must not contain extension marks.
