From saving the Aral Sea to “green schools”: Youth from Central Asia will join forces to address climate challenges at RES 2026.

On April 24, 2026, in Astana, a UNICEF youth workshop will take place as part of the Regional Environmental Summit: “Future Ecosystem: Children and Youth as Architects of Sustainable Development.”

More than 100 young eco-activists and leaders from Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries will take part in the event.
