Kazakhstan has launched the National Water Resources Information System.

The system is currently operating in pilot mode, with most modules already implemented and a unified digital database of water infrastructure being developed.

Thousands of organizations and users are already connected to the platform. The map includes thousands of rivers, lakes, and hydraulic structures.

This data will help forecast water shortages, track transboundary flows, and support more effective water management policies.

Digital technologies are becoming a key tool for sustainable water resource management.
RES 2026 will serve as a platform to discuss modern solutions in this field.
