More than 120 Chinese companies have expressed interest in participating in the international green technology exhibition RES 2026 EXPO.

Interest from international businesses in participating in the international exhibition of green technologies and sustainable solutions RES 2026 EXPO continues to grow steadily. With the support of the Representative Office of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the General Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan, a specialized online webinar was held for Chinese companies, focusing on participation opportunities and the presentation of technological solutions in the Central Asian market.

More than 120 companies from the People’s Republic of China took part in the webinar, representing various sectors of the green economy, including renewable energy, water technologies, waste management, environmental infrastructure, climate solutions, and sustainable urban technologies. Representatives of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) also participated, including delegations from Shaanxi Province, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, as well as representatives of the CCPIT office in Kazakhstan. The high level of engagement and the large number of questions from participants demonstrated strong interest among Chinese companies in cooperation with Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries in the field of environmental and sustainable technologies.

During the meeting, the organizers presented the international exhibition RES 2026 EXPO, highlighting its thematic zones, business program, and opportunities for international companies — from showcasing technologies to conducting B2B and B2G meetings with government bodies, investors, and industrial companies in the region.

The international exhibition RES 2026 EXPO will take place on April 22–24, 2026, in Astana at the International Exhibition Center “EXPO,” as part of the Central Asian Regional Environmental Summit (RES-2026). The event is expected to bring together more than 300 companies from 30 countries, over 1,500 delegates, and more than 20,000 visitors. The exhibition will unite representatives of government agencies, international organizations, investors, businesses, and the scientific and expert community.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Support is provided by the International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects (IGTIC). The exhibition operator is BusinessFirst LLP.
